Good Weather For Airstrikes

So yesterday, Sunday, October 2nd, will go down in history as one of the best days ever. The day got off to a good start at 1:30 AM when Tito, a very aggressive hispanic cop decided not to arrest me for underage drinking after catching me at Fort Reno. Then 12 hours later, the Redskins, in a completely uncharacteristic string of events, took the Seattle Seahawks to overtime and actually won. (Michael Ressa pointed out that the last time the Redskins were 3-0 they went to the Super Bowl… hail to the Redskins).

Then, that night, I witnessed one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen, The Decemberists at the 9:30 Club. I’ll provide a full account of the concert tomorrow, but for now, download two awesome Decemberists tracks that pertain to both events, “The Sporting Life” (it’s, uh, about sports…) and “July, July” (because it’s happy as hell) below.
