Bloc Party: Live @ Pink Pop 2005
This is pretty exciting. For me at least. Today I found a live, professional quality video of Bloc Party’s complete performance at Pink Pop 2005. Pink Pop is an annual Dutch music festival that takes place on the weekend of the pentecost in Landgraaf, Netherlands. As for the video it’s professional quality, as I mentioned previously, and it’s near-flawless with the exception of a minor tracking issue at the bottom of the screen. They play a great setlist (see below) and as an added bonus you get to see thousands of Dutch folk wearing goofy-ass pink hats whenever the camera pans across the audience. Also, watching Matt Tong on the drums is mesmerizing, and its worth downloading for that alone. The jury is still out on whether or not he’s more bad ass than Kele though. The video is 22 minutes long, but unfortunately cuts out during “The Marshals Are Dead”, but they were nearing the end of their set anyway. But yeah, peep the setlist and download the video below.
Setlist
1. “Like Eating Glass”
2. “Positive Tension”
3. “Banquet”
4. “Blue Light”
5. “She’s Hearing Voices” (which Kele prefaced by saying, “It’s 5 PM, shall we have a boogie?”)
6. “The Marshals Are Dead” (partial)

Also, I highly recommend you watch the video for So Here We Are, which I posted last week.
