Korean Pop Superstar Eddie Shin!
So yeah, sorry about, you know, not posting anything for the last four days; my bad. I went to NYC on Friday for internship interviews (with VICE Magazine/Record Label and AOL Music), and before I went I made sure to write up a lot of posts beforehand so I could get some new content up while I was gone, but I didn’t have any internet access all weekend (read: I was too busy gallavanting around the city with Carrie and Kathryn), so sorry to leave you all hanging.
HOWEVER, to make it up for you I’m posting not one new (kind of) M3 tonight, but THREE “new” volumes of M3, which will be posted over the next three days. Since I started the site I’ve been planning on posting M3s Volume 1-”4″, but the time never came and then my hosting went down in flames in January, but now that I’ve gotten my original ezarchive account back, you all can reap the benefits. So after this post I’ll be debuting M3 Volume 1, which was originally released to all of my high school friends in February ‘05 but has never been posted on GWFAS, and Monday and Tuesday will see the release of M3 Volumes 1 and 2 as well. So keep an eye out for those, and get excited and whatnot (if that’s your thing).
Also, on Friday night I slept in the bed of Korean pop superstar Eddie Shin (who goes by just “Eddie” in his recording career), though he was neither in the bed nor does he go to NYU anymore. While it’s widely accepted that Eddie Shin failed out of NYU, only his close friends - with whom I had the pleasure of hanging out with on Friday night - know that rather, it was NYU who failed out of Eddie Shin. Enjoy his awesomely bad hit single below, “Just My Way”.

Finally, in administrative news, Everett and I have decided to cut back on the whole [highly recommended] thing, as we’ve found ourselves doling it out a bit too liberally as of late. We don’t want to devalue the highly recommended label, as so many bands depend on it for both self-esteem and advertising purposes (not true), so we’ll be cutting back a bit, as anything we post is automatically recommended by us, so it’s a bit redundant to highly recommend every song in a post (as has happened before). So yeah, just because a song doesn’t have the label doesn’t mean you shouldn’t download it, that’s pretty much all we’re saying here. Enjoy your Monday and get ready for the online debut of M3 Volume 1 later today.
