Er, Sorry
So I worked from 12-5 AM and then from 8 AM-12 PM on Friday, then when I tried to finish things up after my noon class Wordpress wouldn’t let me access the administrative area of the site (where I actually make the posts), so as you may have noticed, the Top 50 Tracks list did not go up on Friday. Then I was off to Boston/Providence for the weekend (Northeastern on Friday, Brown on Saturday) so I obviously haven’t had any time to rectify the situation this weekend. However, I will get that shit up tomorrow (and I mean that this time), but now it’s time for the Super Bowl, so uh, fuck this.
MP3z:
“Secret” - Bloc Party
“The Once and Future King” - Bloc Party
Loving these two new Bloc Party B-sides, probably because it sounds as if Jacknife Lee was allowed nowhere near them and it’s got that old school Bloc sound we all know and love. Hopefully they’ll help you forget how frustrating my unkept promises are and can adequately hold you over until tomorrow.
Oh and HEY, Maximo’s upcoming album just became my most-anticipated release of 2007.
MP3: “Our Velocity” - Maximo Park ((highly recommended))

Jesus Christ, how many songs did they record in that short time? Great! Where can I download those two US-exclusive pre-order iTunes tracks “Atonement” and “Cain Said To Abel”? Wouldn’t mind paying for them but as I don’t live in the US I feel kinda cheated
Also I read that if u buy AWITC from someplace called Best Buy u get another track called “Emma Kate’s Accident” or smth (what a name!). Anyone know anything about that?

I’m digging ‘We Were Lovers’, and ‘Version 2.0′, The Prayer B-sides, if I recall correctly.

[…] I actually like the new Maximo Park single. What’s happening to me? First the Fratellis, and now this? Good Weather For Airstrikes has an mp3. […]
